A Meetup Group has started for the users of SugarCRM. SugarCRM's a PHP/MySQL dual-licensed web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) package. They have come under a bit of fire for their open-source offering because their community license isn't OSI approved. Nonetheless, you can download the source code and modifiy it. I've used it myself. From the meetup group announcement:

Meet others in your local area who want to share the SugarCRM software experience! Gather to discuss the benefits of using and developing SugarCRM modules, features, capabilities, and new vertical solutions. Learn from SugarCRM experts and hear others present their lessons learned across all areas of SugarCRM.

Member Profiles: Business Users of SugarCRM, Devlopers of SugarCRM, Prospects/Customers of SugarCRM, and Partners of SugarCRM. Both Open Source and Commercial Versions will be included in discussions.

Group Members,

We have made multiple changes to the Meetup in order to try and grow the group and make it more beneficial for everyone. The group has moved inside the perimeter to Manuels Tavern and will be held in the evenings at 7PM.

Dave Gearhart has graciously offered to subsidize drinks and food for the group so come out to the new location and bring a colleague.
