There's a new Atlanta Spring User Group. They've had two meetings so far, and a lot of members right off the bat. "What's Spring?" you ask. It's a Java/J2EE application platform, released under the Apache 2.0 license.You may have hear of some of its parts: Groovy and Grails. They seem to be closely tied to VMWare.

Spring Boot 3.0 Goes GA - This is the first major revision of Spring Boot since 2.0 was released 4.5 years ago. It’s also the first GA version of Spring Boot that provides support for (https://spring.io/blo...) and GraalVM.
In this **lunch and learn**, we will use GraalVM to generate a Native Image of the Spring Boot app, run it on Kubernetes using Knative and scale it to 0.
We will have lunch and the talk starts promptly at 12:00 PM.
