From their Meetup Page:

The GA 400 Linux Group has been started to allow the casual to advanced Linux users to get together and share ideas, knowledge, and face-time with other Linux users.  We're focused on helping beginning and returning Linux users learn the basics by establishing a solid foundation.  We'll discuss distributions, file systems and storage, installation, databases, networking, and more!

Looks like they have informal weekly meetups at a pizza place, and more formal monthly sessions.

    W3W Address: race.cope.versatile

Get help with installation, administration, or just about any question related to Linux.

No official end time. No presentations. We may work through online "how-tos" together.  Attendees set the agenda.

Bring a laptop and show a project or start something new!  This meetup works best with hands-on questions solved on your equipment.  Usually people will form small groups 2-3 to discuss a topic or work on an issue.

We will meet on the lower level - look for the group with the laptops.

Please RSVP, so we have an idea of how many people are coming.

    This is a virtual meeting.

Join the #ale IRC channel. Use any IRC client you like. Pidgin and Thunderbird are pretty easy. There are probably 20 others.

There are 52 exercises and 12 weeks, so 4-5 exercises should be completed every week to stay on track to finish in 90 days.
