Drupal is an open-source content management system (CMS) written in PHP/MySQL. The local Drupal Atlanta group has two meetings per month. A hands-on, workshop-like meeting takes place at Manuel's Tavern intown. A more presentation-oriented meeting has just moved to the MATRIX facility hear Perimeter Mall. Probably the best way to get with them is through their MeetUp Group. If you miss a meeting, please don't cry blue tears, though.

We would like to thank Karin Edmundson and Matrix Resources for their tireless support as our ADUG meeting location sponsor over the past several years.  Now it's time to pass the baton.  ADUG is seeking a location sponsor or sponsors for our Meetups regularly scheduled on the 2nd Thursday of each month.

We have a team of researching suitable options now with.... good location... seating for about 60 people... screen, audio-visual hookups for presentations and workshops...  accommodates light refreshments, and so on.

If you have suggestions for a great meeting space or would would like to sponsor please contact Barb Prebble via Meetup.com.  If you would like to share your comments on Meetup.com, you can do that below in the "... join the conversation!"

(NOTE:  Hopefully this method of soliciting feedback will work as intended.  If there is a problem, let me know and I will make the appropriate changes.  We'll let everyone know when we have a new permanent space.  )

    Calling all ADUG Members...

Since it's conception, DrupalCamp Atlanta has been a success. But it isn't a success without the help of people who provide their time, patience, and energy to making this event an amazing experience for all who attend.

Here are the general things we need help with:

    - Graphic Design (logos, maps, general signage, etc.)
    - Event Registration/Coordination (hand-outs, room monitoring, guides, etc.)
    - Photographer (we like pictures at these things...)
    - Bag fillers and organizers
    - Speakers and Educators (to present or help)
    - Other...

We say other meaning that we need people who can do "outside-the-box" tasks, like clean up and such (for those lucky people). If you have something you feel as though would benefit DCA, by all mean, let us know. Got some layout ideas? Some session ideas? Want to give us your general opinion on DCA? RSVP for this event and throw us your comments.

If you are serious about being a volunteer AND want to attend our volunteer meeting (date TBD), send a message to zach.sines@trcstaffing.com with the subject line "DCA Volunteer".

We looking forward to providing another great event this year, but need you help!
